If Picasso, Tarantino, and Prince met at a coffee shop… this podcast would happen.

Meet The Hosts
RATT… T-A… T-A

Dawson DeGraaf
director | cinematographer
In Toronto
Dawson DeGraaf is a Canadian director and cinematographer currently based in Toronto. Born in 1998, he began his journey in film at a young age and has since worked on a range of productions across genres and formats. While contributing to commercial and creative projects as a filmmaker, he continues to develop his own work—travel and lifestyle content captured cinematically and shaped into immersive, story-led experiences.
“While other kids watched movies, I was glued to the DVD extras. Give me grainy behind-the-scenes footage, storyboards, weird on-set chaos… I was all in. RATT is my grown-up version of that obsession: digging into the messy brilliance of artists who broke the mold. Luckily, I’ve got Sebastian to stop me from narrating an entire director’s commentary in real time.”

Sebastian Ellis
Singer-songwriter | musican
In Paris
Sebastian Ellis is an English-Canadian singer-songwriter and musician currently based in Paris, France. Born in 1998, he started his journey as a musical artist in 2014. Since then, he has recorded three albums, sung with orchestras in Toronto, toured the Canadian East Coast, and played in clubs and festivals in France. Nowadays, he performs rock ‘n’ roll and swing music for French audiences, and is moving his original music into the realm of country and folk.
“I grew up chasing melody, mischief, and the thrill of saying something through music. RATT lets me do the same—only now, I get to explore the minds of creatives who made magic, ruffled feathers, and occasionally set their careers on fire. Every episode is like pulling up a barstool with another rebel soul. Also, someone has to keep the tempo around here.”
The Spark Question: Every guest on RATT answers one question:
“What spark of rebellion would you leave for today’s artists?”
It’s our way of connecting the fire of the past to the future – one spark at a time.
